    Alright, bit of a long shot on this one, but your board has a Firewire/IEEE 1394 port on the I/O panel.

    Whether or not you use it, go into Device Manager and find the entry for it. In its Properties, there should be a Power tab. Select that one and check the "Allow OS to turn off power to this device", or whatever the wording is.

    I know the Firewire device has kept some PCs from shutting down.

    I am very sorry guys I cant seem to find an entry at all for a Firewire device, hmmm no IEEE 1394 devices in my device manager unless its listed as something else?
