Default Cant enable SLI on GTX 560ti 2win on Asrock B75M R2.0

    Hi all

Bit of an odd question, I have a GTX 560ti 2win dual GPU, and I cannot enable SLI anywhere, both GPUS are detected and functioning, and report back fine with GPU-Z.
    Any ideas?

    Specs:

    Windows 8.1 Pro
    i5-2320
    8gb DDR3 1600Mhz
    120gb SSD
    300gb HDD
    GTX 560ti 2win
    Corsair GS600 PSU
    Asrock B75m R2.0 latest bios.

    Thanks

    Welcome to the forum.

Are you using the most recent Nvidia drivers for your operating system and video card?
With your custom 2 in 1 video card, you might need to download the drivers from EVGA.

    5-27-2014 --- Driver --- 337.88 WHQL --- Windows 8/8.1 64bit:
Download 337.88 WHQL Driver for Series 5 GPU (271MB) --- View EVGA Notes

The Nvidia Control Panel is where you enable SLI and set your graphics options by right clicking on the windows desktop.

    Thanks for the reply.

Ive got the latest NVidia drivers installed, and the ones from evga just link to the NVidia ones.
Going to try a new board tomorrow, see if its this being strange

I don't even get the multi GPU bit, I get the PhysX part, and shows both gPUs, just no SLI config.

Did you notice that there is an option to Disable SLI and that below the text it says "Multi-GPU Enabled"?

Take a screen-shot of your Nvidia Control Panel and include it in your next post.
Do not include your complete desktop in the screen-shot.

Did you install the current Nvidia drivers after you had physically installed your graphics card?

    1. In your answer is NO, uninstall all Nvidia graphics drivers, boot in windows Safe Mode and run Driver Sweeper to ensure that all of the Nvidia graphics driver remnants have been deleted.
    2. Reboot into windows and then reinstall the latest Nvidia graphics drivers.

Are there any AMD/Radeon graphics drivers still installed in your system.
If yes, delete them also, and then run Driver Sweeper again in windows Safe Mode.

    From Guru3D - Driver Sweeper
The AMD/NVIDIA video drivers can normally be uninstalled from the Windows Control panel, this driver uninstaller program was designed to be used in cases where the standard driver uninstall fails, or anyway when you need to thoroughly delete NVIDIA and ATI video card drivers. This software is backed by Guru3D.com
The current effect after you use this driver removal tool will be similar as if its the first time you install a new driver just like a fresh, clean install of Windows. As with any tool of this kind, we recommend creating a new system restore point before using it, so that you can revert your system at any time if you run into problems.

If you have problem installing older driver or newer one, give it a try as there are some reports that it fix thoses problems.

We have an extensive AMD support thread over here and an NVIDIA over here.

    Recommended usage

The tool can be used in Normal mode but for absolute stability when using DDU, Safemode is always the best.
I would like to gather feedback from you guys. Tell me if it was success or not.
Make a backup or a system restore (but it should normally be pretty safe).
For people with driver problem, if this tool gave you any success into fixing some issues your are currently experiencing, please share your result.

Keep note that NVIDIA/AMD did not have anything to do with this, I do not work at or for NVIDIA/AMD and they should not be held responsible for anything that may go wrong with this application.

NOTE: .NET framework 3.5 Required - Windows XP up to 8.1 is supported X86/X64 (not sure for WinXP x64)

Driver Sweeper has been replaced with Display Driver Uninstaller. Download here

Your B75M R2.0 board does not list NVIDIA SLI support in its specs:

    ASRock > B75M R2.0

I know that can be just a lack of verification or licensing, but there could be technical limitations involved.
