Default no dedicated gpu will work on my h87pro4

    hi

just bought some new parts, but cant seem to get it working:

    asrock h87pro4
i7 4790k ( wich gets way to hot)
    psu: hamburg 530w

    problem:

gpu from the 4790k is working as it should.
but when i want to use a dedicated gpu, it wont work, their fan wont even rotate.
in windows i wont see 'new hardeware detected'
in bios i can set it to primaire cpu graphics or to pcie, doesnt matter, no use.
i tried the ati hd 5770, wich needs 1x pcie power too>> doesnt work.
i tried the ati hd 4670 wich doesnt need 1x pcie power, also no use.

    motherboard has biosversion 2.0 (latest)

    can the motherboard be broken?

    hi,

    youre right ;)

the solution was to put in the cards properly
this is the first time for me that all cards on a motherboard need to be pressed GOOD into the slot.
i thought it fitted well, but i only had it half in :P
so when i put it in correctly, it solved the problem ;)
