Got rid of the beeps but have to plug in a dsub monitor as well. Any idea how to just display on my hdtv by HDMI port?

Five beeps you say? That is a processor error, no other code for five beeps.

Since your PC actually runs, the problem is probably your onboard video driver version. What version are you using?

Your board's download page has an old version, try this one from Intel: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Det...?DwnldID=23764

So you updated to BIOS 2.30 that has, "Improve discrete VGA card vBIOS compatibility.", while using onboard graphics. Also, using the Ivy Bridge compatible BIOS with a Sandy Bridge CPU, not always a good thing, the 2.10 update must be done perfectly, including a few driver updates.

I'm pretty sure 5 beeps usually indicates a CPU problem. Is the CPU fan and CPU power still connected properly and has the PC been knocked at all?

EDIT: Just seen you can boot up with dsub connected. Probably a bug with the new bios :/
