Post ASRock Z87 Extreme6 Motherboard can't select boot drive

so i've had this mobo for a while (its been working fine)

I went into the bios today to check the fan settings (as my cpu one seems a bit loud now that its summer).

Anyways as i exited my comp wouldn't boot (said no bootloader) so i went back into bios to try and check what was happening. Turns out i can't select my normal ssd to boot from (but it appears in system manager and if i manually choose it Select boot device > choose the ssd) it'll work fine (what i'm typing on atm ))

Please understand that you've given us very little information about why something like that would happen. Just going into the BIOS to check your fan settings is no reason for the problem you have. But things can happen spontaneously at times...

First, what SSD are you using?

Next, when you installed Windows on the SSD, were any other drives running on the PC?

If you have your Windows installation media, you can boot up that and try running a Repair on the OS drive.
