    Default Sata 3 controller drivers and raid 0?

    Do I need still need to install the ASMedia SATA3 Driver ver:2.0.8.0 if I have a raid setup?

    Given the extreme detail that was (not) provided, like what board you are using...

    If you are using an AMD or Intel SATA chipset for your RAID array, then the ASMedia SATA driver has nothing to do with the RAID function of either of those chipsets.

    You can install the ASMedia driver or not, makes no difference.

    As long as you realize that running RAID 0 *doubles* (or more) your chance of a catastrophic drive failure, where you lose everything...

    RAID 0 is like not putting on your seatbelt so you'll get to where you're going faster. You'll never notice that you made a mistake... until something happens. And then the mistake is bigger, and more painful.
