Hi Bill,
It took me some time to get the Corsair Ram (below), that I eventually got after going to the Corsair Site, & using their Tool there, to recommend the compatible Ram for my particular Motherboard, that they are currently producing (End of Dec. 2014), as the other Kingston ones were unprecurable, as they were older Models. The Corsair Site with their Compartiblity Tool is very good & easy to use, & gives you what you want. I have now tested the whole Rig for about 2mths now, & it is great, & all working well.. I will in the near future upgrade my CPU to a Quad Core, something like yours Electric Bill.

The only cavet with the Ram & the Motherboard with conjunction with my older Phenom II 555 Black Edition CPU, is that in that combination, you can only run that new 1600 rated Ram at 1333. I am future proofed though.

The Ram is Corsair Vengeance CML8GX3M2A1600C9B 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 (mentioned below too)

Thanks again Bill for you help.. Dave
