You are still wondering about this?

I have five ASRock boards, four different models, from Z77 to Z97. EVERY ONE of them has the same instructions in the manual about memory slot usage.

The preferred slots to use, called Option 1, for two sticks of memory is A2 and B2.

That is not wrong, I use or have used slots A2 and B2 when using two memory sticks on all of my boards, and the memory works fine.

Can you use slots A1 and B1? Yes, sure, of course. I've done that, and it works.

Did you try any of the two options? What are you worried about? Do you have a memory issue?

It seems like you want to use A1 and B1, and are waiting for someone to tell you that A2 and B2 is wrong. You can use A1 and B1, that will work.

I don't understand what the big deal is.

I've told you this in your other threads, but I guess you don't like my answer.
