    On HWmoniter. I have the readout thing saved I'll post it tommarow. A couple of the MOBO temps were static at 2-3 after returning to normal core and package temps.

    That sounds normal IMO. Nothing to worry about.

    The third party hardware monitoring programs don't know which sensor outputs on a board's sensor chip are being used, all of them are not being used, and there are few standards regarding the sensor outputs. Notice the generic names used for some readings, "System", "Temp1", "Temp2", etc.

    An unused sensor output provides random data to the program, that displays whatever it translates the data into. All generic monitoring programs will show some weird readings that are all just bad data, or data that is not translated properly. If the value never changes or is off the scale of reasonable values, it's an unused sensor reading.

    I don't see -22 anywhere, must have been a fluke reading.

    If you have two or more monitoring programs running at the same time, one of them can corrupt the data that the other one gets, and cause a bad reading like that.

    Hmm yeah your going to have to take my word for it. I wonder why the core temps wernt it the log. Anyway, All I had open at the time was HWmoniter. I don't run XTU during normal operation and I don't use MSIafterburner most of the time because most games don't need it.
    You think I shouldent be concerned?

    No, unless you keep seeing that reading in HWMonitor and other monitoring programs. Meaning getting a "second opinion" from another monitoring program.

    Alright thanks! MSI afterburner has very nice monitoring. I've used that one you reccomended before on my old rig. That'll be plan B
