    Default H97 Pro4: Wake on Lan problem

    Hi,

    For the life of me I can't get the WOL feature to work.

    I have tried everything I can thing and can google of.

    BIOS:
    enable: wake on board LAN
    enable: wake PCI (hides the wake on board LAN option. Is this normal?)
    enable: Intel Smart Connect
    disabled: FastBoot

    Linux:
    ethtool -s eth0 wol g

    Tried:
    to wake from S3 (power light is blinking). Nope
    to wake for S4 (hibernate) - PC wakes up from USB RF mouse & keyboard. It does not wake up from LAN
    to wake from S5 (shutdown from linux). PC does not wake up from mouse & keyboard. It does not wake up from LAN

    I have the latest BIOS 1.60. What should I do? Should I return the motherboard?
    I am trying to wake up the machine from a windows 7 machine with the following utilities

    $ ./WolCmd.exe d0509925209b 255.255.255.255 255.255.255.255
    and
    $ ./mc-wol.exe d0:50:99:25:20:9b

    Any other ideas?

    Finally found it after lots of hours and googling around.

    The correct command line are:

    $ ./WolCmd.exe d0509925209b 192.168.1.255 255.255.255.255
    and
    $ ./mc-wol.exe d0:50:99:25:20:9b /a 192.168.1.255

    It worked for S3, S4 and bonus points S5. I tried 4/6 combinations.

    Now I have to figure out why my PC wakes up spontaneously.
