It's too late to return it now. That's why I wanted to know if I had options.

    Dear ClintJCL,

If install 7 stick of same memory module from our memory support list, X99 WS should can boot up normally.
But for better stability, we still suggest to refer user manual page16 to install memory on the slot:

    Thanks you for your inquiry.

This is for anyone having the same problem:

IT IS LIKELY YOUR CPU FAILING.

I had this exact issue (except my system was running for a year before the mobo/cpu died) and spent over a week debugging, ordering new parts, ordered a 2nd CPU (so I figured there was no way it was also bad) trying every configuration possible. Eventually I gave up and bought all new parts (not x99/5820k) and got my system up and running (using the older same ram, so that was not the problem).

Luckily my friend bought the same exact system and his was up and running. I wanted to put the problem to rest, so he installed my CPU into his fully functional system...and guess what?? Error 53. He swapped his CPU back in and it was fully functional. So don't be afraid to assume your CPU has failed (or also the 2nd RMA one you got is also broken) if you have tried multiple Motherboards all with error 53.

    It was actually incmopatible ram.

I too have purchased a X99 WS-E/10G. With 4 sticks of g.skill f4-3000c15q-32grbb I get error 55. All memory has been removed and reset and swapped slots. When set up with only 1stick in A1 I get a bd error. Pulling my hair out... All memory in A1, B1, C1, D1. Help!
