    Default Best-safest-simplest BIOS upgrade method

I have been absent for a year or so, due to illness, but back and picking up where I left off, but forgotten lots about what I intended to do back then, which is to upgrade the BIOS on my H97MITX/ac. It is currently vers 1.0 and I want to make the most of the G3258k that is installed. I know there are various ways to do it, but want to know what is recommended as the most foolproof, getting nervous about making a mess of it.
    Thanks.

Instant flash, follow method 1, if you flash any UEFI after or 1.20, wait after flash and allow it to reboot and it will update ME, so don't touch system after flash and wait till after ME. Should be ok after second self boot and ME update.

Yea, leave the USB stick alone until that second reboot. DO NOT remove it after the BIOS flash, it will reboot and THEN it will update the ME firmware.

A web search using: what is intel me includes:

Built into many Intel chipset based platforms is a small, low power computer subsystem called the Intel Management Engine (intel ME). This performs various tasks while the system is in sleep, during the boot process and when your system is running.

Just done it Painless and quick. Thanks all for the guidance, much appreciated. Now to try a modest overclock on the G3258k, probably just using ASRock MB software
