Default Asus PRIME B250-PLUS Integated Graphics issue

Hi all, I'm hoping someone can give me a hand with an issue I'm experiencing with my ASUS B250 PLUS Motherboard. I recently built the following pc:

    CPU:Intel i5 6600K
    MOBO:ASUS PRIME B250-PLUS
    GPU:EVGA Geforce 1050Ti
    RAM:8GB Kingston HYPER X
    PSU:Corsair CX 750W
    HDD:Seagate Barracuda 500GB

The system boots fine while using the integrated graphics. However after installing and updating the Nvidia drivers for my GPU I cannot get my PC to output video through the GPU. In BIOS Version 0304 x64 Primary Display Field shows as CPU Graphics while it is using integrated graphics, I have tried to change Primary Display to AUTO and PCI-E however when I save & exit the pc still outputs through integrated graphics and upon going into BIOS again I find the Primary Display field always goes back to CPU Graphics and no video is output though the GPU. IGFX VBIOS Version shows as 1046.

Is there something I'm missing here? Let me know if you need more info.

Terribly sorry all, turns out I jumped the gun and the issue is actually a bad cable.
