Ok, this is the plan. Got a new set of these 5.1 speakers. And would like a better soundcard. My current sb live is aging and needs to be cooled to much. I have an opertunity to get an audigy LS retail package for a nice price. I do not have the means to spend $300cdn for something like an audigy2 zs platinum pro. Does anyone have an opinion of this card?

    Like I said, I don't have like $180cdn for a retail audigy2, and don't want anything oem.

Why don't you just get an Audigy then.

AsianBatman, relax. He's asking about a specific card. If you don't know anything about it just leave it alone.
I've gone too far and need to move on!
