Hi. I just got a Athlon 1800xp about a month ago. Recently I've been having an error pop up at the start of the load up. It comes up with:

    "Error in NvQTwk"

Something about a missing entry in the NvCplDaemon? I'm completely dumbfounded. The other problem I'm experiencing now is that when I start up my DVD player, it goes fine for about 15min or so, and then an error comes up forcing me to have to restart. After that, the DVD works fine. Could these two problems be related?

I'm completely clueless when it comes to computers, so I would greatly appreciate if anyone might be able to help.

    Thanks in advance.

one way to get rid of this error is to get rid of NvCplDaemon from your startup list
