    Default need help

    can my computer monitor play dvd vcr player just like a tv can?I have compaq p110 radeon 7500 .I don`t have a user manual and hp.compaq.com was of no help as the model seems outdated.The monitor has a power plug in, socket for computer cable and 5 ports labelled as R, B, G, H and V along with 5 usb ports please help me:thanks

    So, if your question is:
    - can i connect my vcr/dvd player to my monitor? the answer is no. You would need a converter box like those:

    if it is:
    - can i plug my vcr/dvd player in my computer and see the result on the screen, it will depend on your graphic card. If you R7500 have video input ports, yes, it is possible. You would need to connect your vcr/dvd to the input video ports and then pass that signal to the monitor using an acquisition program.
