    Default AGP, PCI, PciE

I have a AGP graphics card, but im confused on how you can detiurmain if your computer can handle pci agp or pciE. Or is it from the motherboard that deturmains it. I just wanted to be totaly clear with this whole video card thing.

AGP, PCI and PCI-E are motherboard slots, so yes your motherboard determines what type of video card you can install

You know what AGP and PCI look like most likely, Just look on google for pics of PCIe and you willl see the diffrence between PCI and PCIe. Physicaly, PCIe is larger than either slot, it is also faster.

Which would mean you would want to get an AGP. I wouldn't recommend buying a PCI graphics card unless it's an abosolute necessity, which it isn't in this case. PCI-E is out of the question if your motherboard has an AGP slot.
