Thread: TV interference

    Default TV interference

My 36" TV (I think it was 36") was the old main TV in our house. It's now a fully functional messed up case TV in my room. It sits right next to my monitor. It's like 1 inch apart. Everytime I turn the TV on, my monitor starts to shake (the screen I mean) on the left side (the TV is on the left side of my monitor). What should I do, besides moving it away from each other? Please dont tell me I have to put some sort of ugly bag to something between them. Is there some sort of device that eliminates interference?

I doubt if there is anything that could remove that much RF from such a close distance.
If the disturbance is constant, then it's RF, if it just flickers when you first turn the TV on, then steadies out, then it's probably just a slight power surge.
