Many games check the video card when it is first installed to make sure it has a compatible manner to comminucate with it. Check the game and see if there is an option to re-check the video card. It usually won't be in-game but will be in the startup menu under the Start button in Windows. If there isn't any way to re-check for your graphics, save off you save game files then reinstall the game. It should check for your video card when it installs and you'll be able to transfer your save game files after to continue playing as before.

Are the rest of your games working properly? If so, then this game may not be compatible with that card.

I suggest updating your video card drivers from ATI's website. Also make sure your system meets all the required specifications to play the game. You didn't say what O.S. your using or what version of direct X you have. The game should be compatable with your video card since an ATI radeon 7500 AGP card or better is the minimum to run the game.

One other thing is to make sure your onboard graphics is disabled in your bios providing your mainboard has onboard graphics.
