    Default anyone heard of a Fatal1ty video card by XFX?

    hey I just clicked around and saw this ad or something. i dont know what it means really, but its on the xfx site. http://www.xfxforce.com/web/gamersce...F3TfwnVgetsLhS When I click on the Fatal1ty part it doesnt go to anything so maybe they are working on it. Does anyone know what it means?

    That makes sense.

    ABIT signed up Fatal1ty a long time ago but ABIT have no plans to make VGA cards, so you might well see XFX Fatal1ty cards before much longer.

    Fatal1ty is just a marketing term anyway. A Fatal1ty product is generally not better (in fact, they'vre been worse in most cases) than the same product or a similar product without Fatal1ty's name.

    i agree - abit have turned out mediocre motherboards for ages with fatal1ty branding, if there were decent products....

    Bad products? I thought the Fatal1ty motherboards were the best for gaming in all reviews I just read...

    Where do you read reviews? Motherboards aren't qualified on how good they are for gaming, even by hardcore gamers. The motherboard has very little to do with gaming directly. Overclocking is a bigger factor for gaming, since better overclocking ultimately means better performance. The Fatal1ty boards have not been the most feature-rich boards or the best overclockers, and certain ones have been downright mediocre.
