Should barely be enough but once again your system will be HORRIBLY CPU bottlenecked. Even 1 GTX would overpower your CPU. If I were you, I'd sell one the instant you got it before the new cards are released in a few months so you could still get a good $$$ for it.

so are you saying that my comp is going to run really slow or that i am just not going to get the full potential from my cards.

also what liquid cooling system do you think would be good for this. I am waiting to upgrade my cpuy to the new AMD phenom quad in november since its going to be socket am2+ but still works with am2

What I am saying is you won't get the full potential of those cards. In fact, guys with overclocked E6600's cannot get the full potential of them in SLI. It's a tough call, I don't know if I would let myself sell one of my GTX's if I had 2, so the choice is yours. I will say this though, a single 8800GTX will play any game maxed out @ 1920X1200 without a problem. 2 of them, to me, is overkill.

As for watercooling, Swiftech makes the best possible kits.

Replacing two 7950GX2's for two 8800GTX's??? LUCKY!!!

I've got a Fortron 700W PSU in my system and it runs great. I have yet to have a single hiccup with it. With all the hardware in that system, 700W may not be enough...

Alright Yah i cant let myself sell one of them either i was so lucky to get two of them for my 7950gx2s. I would have been happy with one but i will be upgrading my system with Am2 quad core when it comes out. I also just bough liquid cooling for my fx-62 it works great its Elimnatoe cpu cooler made by coolIt systems ive never heard of them but it keeps my cpu at 39c full load.

Thanks for the help once again this This is the only website that knows a lot about everything. Thanks

I disagree. There are lots of guys out there running GTX SLI with a good 700W PSU. I will say it is the least I'd be comfortable with, but it will do it. Most of the PSU calculators you see out there are garbage, and most of the power quotes you hear are grossly overhyped.

I was wondering if 35c at idle and 41 c at full load is good for an Am2fx62 i was debating if i should return this and spend the 220dollars on a danger den water cooling kit instead??
