Default What Vid card would you put in your moms computer?

Hey guys and gals, I need a little help here. I am upgrading my moms computer with my old one.
    1.)Gig ga 965P ds3
    2.)E4300/2 gig ram
    3.)Corsair 550vx
    4.) Windows Xp home

I had it all put together and found the video card was an old agp (oops).
So here it is.... What video card would you put in your mothers cpu?

She does no graphics and plays no game. She has the cpu on no longer than 20 minutes at a time. I know this seems like a no brainer, but I am looking for a no nonsense reliable card with minimal heat (doesn't even need a fan). Nothing fancy as I don't see my mom playing crysis or doing any autocadI see a lot of older 8400's on sale for around 20-30 bucks.

Your 2 cents will be greatly apreciated.

I would find the cheapest possible card that displays video at the resolution of her monitor and call it a day.

Thanks for the reply. I know this is pretty much a no brainer. I was just wondering if anybody had any favorites they could suggest, you know that one card you just loved and had know problems with and was sorry to part with.

I did find a geoforce 7600 gs stuck in a drawer. I like it cause it has no fan(less noise). I just cant remember how good it was. OH well, thanks for the input.

7600 GS is a nice little card that would even do some light duty 3D gaming (if you ever needed to). I'd say you got a winner, LOL!

hey, thanks for the input. I finished up Mom's new/used computer. It was a pretty easy upgrade and I love not having a fan on the 7600gs. it is extremely quiet. She loved her B-day present as I put it in a cat case. Yes her case has ears, whiskers and the dvd slot is the mouth. its a crazy cat lady thing.
