Got the MP3 player - seems alright, it's a parallel interface instead of USB - so I'll probably throw a Lava parallel port card in my wife's PC so we have a dedicated port

Good deal for $79can - and I got it from Future Shop of all places - normally I wouldn't be caught dead in there.

Glad it worked out for you. :)

I'd be happy just to see the Bears make the playoffs. They have been doing so bad for so many years that it's good to see them back in the saddle again.

Bears were the '85 champs - Raiders were in '83
I'd say it's been a long drought for both teams
the bears have had quite a few discouraging seasons though - "the Wanstadt years"

I can't wait for someone to post a hack for it so you can copy your stuff from a PC with a firewire port.. I assume a Unix based hack would be easier than a Windows hack since Mac OS X is just BSD Unix with a fancy UI instead of X..

currently its a MAC only thing.. And your mac needs a firewire port to get it to work..

    :D

It also goes for about $550can - a little more than I care to spend on a portable music system
