I must admit I don't know much about these...

anyone know anything about an MP3 player called the Varoman?
it's 32MB with an addit. smartmedia slot
I've looked up the home page - but I can't find any reveiws anywhere

I have the opportunity to get one for $79can (about $100 Aus.) - reg. price is $135 can which is still somewhat cheaper than a 32MB Nomad or Rio (~$170can)

seems like a good deal - I just don't want to waste $79 if it's a peice of crap

If you're able to get it at like half cost, then go for it. If it sucks, then you can just sell it on eBay and probably still get more than what you paid for it. :)

I just ordered it - I'm sure my wife will like to use it when she goes jogging, as long as it actually works :D

Sounds like you have a plan.
But do you go jogging with her? :)

I'm not a huge fan of cardio workouts myself, but they ARE good for you.

Lifting weights is a cardio workout if the weights are heavy enough

I do hit the stationary bike for a couple hrs each week - usually while I'm watching football GO RAIDERS

I'll stick with my Bears. They're 8-2 this year and are finally playing pretty decent. If only they could get an offense to match their defense, they would be unstoppable!
