    Just two more that I stated above..

    "also.. when you guys went to germany did you go anywhere else in Europe.. I heard you can catch a train to france for 20 bucks and it only takes a few hours because they travel at 240km/hour!"

    what your thinking of is a ICE (inter-city express) and for $20 i highly doubt it. $200 yes but not $20.

    euro is f#@%ed
    but when i was over there in 2000, things were generally cheaper 'cos the rate was 1:1.33 AUD:DEM

    $200, that's a little out my budget.. lol :)

    ta..the guy i spoke to on the phone about the exchange program said that the euro is about the same as the aussie dollar.. what a c@#%
