Nothing a few weights, and a walk every arvo wouldn't fix...

After a BIOS flash and a driver upgrade mine put out a real nice 3D picture. Not bad on the desktop either.

I mean, that card's ancient history but back in the day that card rocked. Mine is still active in my P200MMX and was my 2nd hardware upgrade I ever did. That card never let me down and had a very sweet display. The benefit I recieved from installing it really started a whole new fascination/appreciation with the posibilities of the PC as an entertainment tool.

Sorry, didn't mean to get all teary-eyed there, but I have nothing but fondness for my 'ol Rush card. Those were the days baby!

Do you have the Hercules card?

I had an unusual Rush - most Voodoo Rush cards had an Alliance Semiconductor 2D accelerator, mine had a Macronix one. Problem is, many games were already incompatible with the Rush, and the Macronix chip just made matters worse

I got the Intergraph Intense 3Dfx Voodoo Rush.
LOL at $199.99 I thought my gal was gonna' choke:laugh:

With that whopping 2Mb of 2D RAM combined with 4Mb of 3D and dual 64-bit 3D rendering engine it was like playing I-76 for the first time. WhooHoo!

I still get goose-bumps when I think about the difference it made compared to the 1Mb ESS card it replaced:geek:
