    ummmm.........how are these two any different from a person who rapes and brutally murders a small child.

    If anything the older person who knows exactly that what he is doing is wrong should be given a harsher punishement than these two who were 10 at the time.

    Why say that they have to live with it the rest of their lives? Maybe they enjoyed doing it, and will repeat the same offence in years to come, a new identity will not help the community they will be released in to be able to combat any more crimes like this one, I think a lenient sentence in this case has given the impression that they now have a licence to do this again, may the judge who releases them manage to live with this knowledge :thumbs do

    What they got would be more appropriate trying to hide someone from criminals (like the mob), when that someone is truly in danger.

    Those kids knew enough to kill a small kid, they need to pay not be rewarded.

    it depends on whether you believe in rehabilitation

    If rehab is your aim then after they've served their time they should be able to live in peace

    However if you don't belive in in rehab, then why bother locking them up in the first place
