    Andy, while this is very disappointing for those who use Optus, it's really all they could do. Did you really think they could keep up with the no cap plan? It's gotta be costing them a fortune.. so why would they run themselves into the ground just to please the customer?

    As far as I know, there are now no uncapped Broadband plans in Australia, at all.

    so you'd rather they went broke and stopped the uncapped service, forcing you to a different ISP, instead of tightening their plan a little, but still giving you service?

    Basically the 3gig cap is only goin' to effect 27% of customers (9% of which would have to take the next step) plus cut down a significant amount of "WAREZ" :smokin:

    What about frequent users like myself Wiggo? Without even downloading a physical file I would go over 3gb per month.

    Well I average around 2.4gigs p/m really but then we're lite users here, mainly surfin' and online gamin' goin' on here. :smokin:
