    Default GPS Ideas

I'm going to get my girlfriend a GPS for her birthday (May 30th). I have narrowed it down and am getting ready to buy the Garmin nüvi 360. The price is 239.18. I don't really want to spend more than that.

Does anyone know of a better model than this (brand doesn't matter) within this price range? I don't care about the features such as MP3 or Bluetooth or Videos, as long as it says the street names.

TomTom rocks my world but i've only used it in england.
Not sure how it stacks up in the US. but look at their range around the same pricing.

i prefer pocketpc GPS's - that way you can load your own GPS software - but its probably outside your price range

i've used tomtom, copilot live, destinator - all about the same - myMotion (free) does tracks like magellen does
