the best deals I get come from the computer swapmeets. I can get a case from $45 (boring beige) to $65(nice looking with front USB). Bendigo has one on the second sunday of every month. They are also held in ballarat, geelong, shepparton & ,Melbourne.

for that kind of money I'd hop in a car and travell to bendigo (bendigo's swap meet is bigger than ballarats) when the swap meets on - that kind of case is at most $50

you get similar savings of all hardware

But I can get this any day of the week, without having to travel 3-4 hours to get there, then another 3-4 hours getting back, in which time I would have spent more money on fuel and supplies, that it isn't worth it just for a case. :D
