    Waiting for a professor???
For {insert favorite expletive here} sake doesn't OZ have doctors?!?!?

When the scholar sets her to rights it will be well worth the delay though:thumb:

I reckon it'll be rough, but the Wiggo clan will just have to toe the line for 3 weeks without Kay's supervision - I'm sure she'll deal with any acting-up quick, fast and in a hurry when she gets back home:D

It'll be a long 3 weeks for all of us:(
The main complication atm seems to be the clot and until that has been taken care of not a great deal can be done as if they operated now the extra flow of blood is very likely to shift the clot and be fatal which is why the wait (we're hoping that it will just disolve without moving again). ;)

Thanx dirtydog, I let her know that ya back. ;)

Today they are moving her to the pre-op ward in readiness for the arrival of the "Professor" (seems it's the name for the head nurosurgeon there) as they are worried about the clot moving again, so as soon as they can they will have her in the operating room and it looks like they may attack the clot as well as do the by-pass to the artery in her neck at the same time.

I went down to visit my fav sis-in-law on Saturday. Considering the seriousness of her condition, she looks quiet well.
I'm sure there's plenty of reading in store, as I dropped in a couple of books and she was already reading one as think as a brick. As for something to munch on while she's reading, there's a 2.5kg box of licorice to feast on.....

Maybe you should print out the BG for her to read!

Wiggo and Kay, I had not caught this thread earlier. I wish you godspeed through these tough times. It is a shame that such good people as yourselves should have to go through this ordeal.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.
