...sorry, there are about 1000km from rygby´s island to tweakers home...and a lot longer to north pole. This time I actually looked from the map! :o :o :D

I ment how far north we are not how close. you know the latitude lines and all. The islands on the same lign as Moscow so that pretty damn north:laugh:

1000 km? Actually my home is way longer than that from the Island. If I travel 1000 km from my home south I haven't even left Sweden.. :)

Hmm...I´m not quite sure what you mean rygby.:?: If these two red lines are the latitude lines, you are quite more far away from northpole than the tweaker, if that is what you mean. :?:

You have left the Sweaden after 1000km tweaker. Finland is about 1000km long, use that as a scale. :)

BTW, you did live in Umeå, didn´t you tweaker? :?:

Well the purpule line between Umeå and Göteborg is about 850 km by air and 950 km in car if you understand what i mean. I have traveled this road many times and it is accurate.

You can't use Finland as a scale due to the fact that flat maps doesn't give the right visual measurements to do that. You must look at a globe. I know Finland is just like you said around 1000 km long from north to south.

So if i start in my town Umeå and drive 1000 km south i have not left Sweden belive me.. :)
