    You can get some really good deals on interest over here now. Like around 5% .

    (I want my own smiley :p)

    Interest on Home Loans and stuff have gone down but the CC interest is still dang high...

    Yeah CC rates are a joke here when a house loan is 5-6% :mad:

    Lucky that I only use a debit card. :D

    Yeah, I think ours are like 18% but home loans are down to 4 and 5%....

    I'm with you Wiggo.. I only use my debit card.

    Now.. if I could just convince my husband to leave the cc alone :devil win

    hmm, maybe ppl would not have trouble with their credit cards if they did not spen more money than they had.
    What I am about to say does not apply to those who made a big purchase, b/c of emergency. There is a big difference b/w necessity and desire.

    To those who think available credit limit == cash to burn. Think again. If you spend more money than you have, then you will pay interest. If you have a $500 dollar balance and pay $100 dollars a month and 20% (to make math simple) interest, then you will have $400 + 80 = $480 for your next month's bill. Essentially you have paid of 20 dollars. WOW. Sorry, I have seen a lot my friends and family get burned by credit cards! You need to use them to develop credit, but do not spend money you do not have. YOU will only get into trouble :thumb:

    Sorry for the blah that just came out of my finger tips, if I offended I am apologize ahead of time. hehe
