I don't know if they are using this bombing in Bali as an excuse but some folks are saying al Qaeda is responsible.

    From CNN:
U.S. and Asian intelligence authorities said they had linked the attacks to the al Qaeda terrorist network in Southeast Asia because they bear the hallmarks of the terrorist group
This is just horrible. I'm sorry for those that had friends and aquaintences involved.

It is indeed very close to all of our homes.

Yes it really sucks when it hits so close to home: Remembering listening to howard stern driving when I heard of the world trade center. Not being able to visualize what I was hearing thinking this could not be true. Trying to rush home to actually see what has happened!! Then hearing of the others. It is a freaky feeling know that you are being uder attack!! Living in the US you aways think you are so protected from outside harm. When in fact we are just as big of a target as anyone else in the world. What makes me sick is these people used airplains as wepons, they strap bombs to there bodies!! What kind of freaks are there out there in todays time! And I hope to GOD that we find this snipper dickhead and take him in alive so we can find some means of punishment that maybe we used in the olden days!!
Personally I think the old tie him up to horses would work: one arm one horse the other arm another horse ... one leg one horse the other leg another horse!! Pull him apart in pieces! This method of death is know as the worst!! Seen it on faces of death!

Thats what i was thinking but who can't spot one of those people from that ethnicity; right?...Could be another american working for them...yet again...its way too difficult to pass the masses of cops on that area. So to me its a power hungry James Bond wanna be...

we live in a sick sick world, where there are a few people who can cause so much terror to so many people. It makes me very sad to know that people are being killed or suffering at the plight of the twisted few. I wish there was something we could do to end it, but unfortunately there is not.

Like I said. it makes me sad!

The point that everybody seems to miss is that these are probably all "religious fanatics". The sniper claimed he is God. That could be a red herring, but we'll see. So much of the hate in the world is religion based, and the haters have it on the "highest authority" that they are not only right, but are going to be rewarded for their actions. And it's not just the bombers and shooters that tear apart out societies. Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson blame everything on gays, liberals, women working, video games, pornography, call all Muslems terrorists, etc. just to stir **** up. The Pope reminds the world that the Catholic Church is Primo, number one, the only real religion. Al Sharpton preaches that anything he doesn't like is "racist". The "skinheads" here claim that the Bible forbids the mixing of the races and the supremecy of whites. As far as I'm concerned, everybody can pray to whomever they like, however they like, just leave the rest of us alone! Religion is a hate factory, It needs to change worldwide if there is ever to be peace, or people need to just reject all of their folklore and concentrate on this life.
