I was charged $75 for the Intellimouse Optical and $145 for the Logiteck Quickcam Express.

Are these the right prices or what?

sounds about right.. the intellimouse explorers are still around $99.. I think I saw the optical for about $70 somewhere, but what's $5?

I have no idea what consumer law is like in OZ?
Here in the USA, you could contact the credit card company, and dispute the charges, and explain. Also here, you are to be fully reimbursed for shipping charges on returned items.
