Some of you know that I am a Respiratory Therapist (don't think they have those in Austrailia) and work in a Peds ICU. Since May I have been on loan to our IS department working on a huge $20,000,000 project.

We've built an entire new hospital information system from beginning to end. New network, new pc's, new OS and new HIS. Everything that runs the hospital has been replaced.

Tonight at midnight we throw the switch!!! and go live with it.

So if you hear of a huge explosion in So Cal USA you'll know what happend
    :wow:

    Wish me luck

Yep...we have large stand alone generators on site. Enough to run the hospital for over a week in case of an earthquake or power outage.

They've passed all their tests and kick in automatically if there is a brown out.

The facility I work at covers 2 square city blocks...it's like a little city all by itself : party ha
