    um, do people still use "mouse surfaces".

    my desk works just fine.

    I have an optical mouse and therefore don't need a mouse pad but i still use one purely because it looks cool and is comfortable:D

    Agreed. I still use my old mouse pad, for comfort among other things... That and the fact that my desk is a little too shiny at points and my optical mouse doesn't like it

    I used to think that using a mouse pad with an optical mouse is craziest thing i m doing...but i m not alone...:p

    I too use an optical mouse...

    And also an Everglide Giganta mousing surface designed for optical mice. :D

    Since I use a Microsoft optical trackball I have no need of these things you call "mouse pads".

    It's a rather small structure or house for your pet rodents.
    Since da only mices i has are fed to my snakes...i wouldn't really know.:rofl: :cheers:
