Oh well when aimed at your enemy confusion is one of the most effective weapons in war besides the psykological one, hence why you ALWAYS should aim to low rather than to high when using your carried weapon against enemy soldiers. The sound and sight of bullets hitting ground just in front of your legs makes your heart pound like crazy and as we all know, panic and extreme stress makes a human make mistakes and bad decisions during a fire fight.. ;)

Very true, but there are two things to consider:

1- Many of the weapons employed currently do not require a line of sight.

2- Not many of the Iraqi fighters are putting up much of a fight. They're too busy surrendering... again. : omg:

Of course, it does make the conflict a lot less costly in lives when this happens. It seems that the natives don't see the need to die for someone else's (cough SADDAM's cough) cause. Of course, I don't ever seem to see these so-called LEADERS in a position to have the chance to give up THEIR lives for this grand cause. :rolleyes2

Oh well... such is life. Hopefully things don't go on too long.

With the exception of the fact that a draft cannot be imposed, or significant restrictions on troop loss.
The first strike had been made when I posted that... :) But I see your point.

Okay, all jokes aside.......you ask for it............

here is a lil' poem i wrote during my first of three tours
in Cambodia during the RM Nixon administration entitled
    WAR:

    It's really cool, man,

But, as we don't understand enough of it's

    mechanics or insanessity WE must,

    purely for educations sake,

continue to kill our black/brown/red/yellow/white Brothers.

    But, between you/me/us & mom's apple pie

Who's keeping score:?: :devil win :shh:
