    Its a pepper Mr C sorta close to the chilli family I think, diff colours for diff tastes as well, the red one is sweeter than the green, there is also a yellow one as well :kay:

    Well now I'm all for peppers.
    Have to put capsicum on my list for the next batch of cowboy supper.
    (sorry, I didn't get a picture of tonights skillet - it just disappeared too fast.)

    Being a Trainy chef i can suggest A pasta

    Canned tommies
    Chopped garlic
    Spring onoins
    Mushrooms (fresh) sliced
    olive oil (not popeyes missus)
    1 stock cube in a little water
    Chilli paste (optional)
    Pasta
    Cheese (parmasan , Whatever)


    Boil water for pasta and cook .Fry Garlic,Mushrooms,Chilli till soft and add tommies.Add stock, tee spoon sugar and mill pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes and add Chopped Spring onions simmer for 5 minutes.Add sauce to pasta . Serve Sprinkled with cheese

    This dish reheates well and can have any sort of meat

    500g potatoes
    210g tin of pink salmon
    2 tablespoons of mayo
    2 spring onions, chopped of course
    1 googly egg
    3/4 cup breadcrumbs
    1/4 cup of oil

    peel and chop ur potatoes, and cook in a pot of boiling water until tender, drain and mash.
    Put salmon, mayo, and spring onions in bowl with potatoes, and mix well.
    Divide into equal portions of about 8, and roll into a ball.
    Dust lightly in flour. Beat egg, and dip each patty into it to cover it thourougly, and coat with breadcrumbs.
    Heat oil in pan, place patties in and cook until golden brown on both sides.

    As I have promised

    MEATBALL VEGETABLE SCALLOP

    2 cups of thinly sliced peeled potatoes
    1 cup of sliced carrots
    1 medium onion
    salt
    500g mince
    1 egg lightly beaten
    1/4 cup of breadcrumbs
    1/3 cup of milk
    1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
    1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
    salt
    oil for frying
    1 x 440g can of cream of mushroom soup
    1 cup of sour cream
    1/2 teaspoon paprika

    Cook the potatoes, carrots onion and salt to taste in a little boiling watering for 5 mins, drain.
    Mix meat lightly with egg, crumbs, milk, herbs and salt to taste.
    Form into balls and gently brown all over in oil, remove from pan with a slotted spoon.
    Pour of excess from pan, stir in soup, sour cream and paprika, stir over moderate heat for a min or two.
    Spread vegetables over the base of an ovenproof dish,spoon the sauce over.
    scatter meatballs over the top, cover and bake in a moderate over for about 40 mins.

    CHEESY BEEF PIE

    Mince crust
    500g mince
    2 tablespoons of tomato sauce
    1 small onion, diced
    1 teaspoon dried oregano
    salt, pepper to taste

    Filling
    1 tablespoon melted butter or oil
    1 clove of garlic crushed
    4 sml zucchinis, thinly sliced
    125g (4oz) button mushrooms, sliced
    185g (6oz) cream cheese, softened
    2 eggs
    salt and pepper
    2 tablespoons grated tasty cheese

    combine all ingredients for crust and press firmly into a greased, 23cm (9 inch) pie dish.
    Bake mince crust for 20 mins in a mod oven, then remove.
    heat butter in frying pan and cook garlic, zucchinis and mushrooms for about 4 mins, stirring until tender.
    beat cream cheese until smooth, then beat in eggs.
    Stir in vegetables with salt and pepper to taste.
    Spoon on top of mince crust, smooth over top, and sprinkle with cheese.
    return to oven for 30 mins, or until filling is firm
    cut into wedges and serve either hot or cold.
