my scores seem a little low (or maybe i'm dellusional)
here's my system (sig is not up to date with timings)
    Athlon XP 2800 Barton @ 200x11
    512Mb Corsair XMS PC3200 @ 5-4-3- CAS 2 @ 2.7v
    Leadtek GeforceFX 5600 @ 390/680

my 3dmark2001SE score is 11618. this is with all the settings to default in the program.
is this normal for my setup? or is something screwed up somewhere?
    rig changes too much

It's all about how you benchmark.

Nothing running in windows...set your drivers detail level to "High Performance".......there's lots of things that will improve your score.

I'm running a Geforce4 Ti4200 and achieved the following score. Are there any recommendations that you guys could make that could help increase my score a little?
Without my other half in my life, where would I be - Absolutely nowhere

That's a damn nice score coming from a 4200....granted your CPU is badass and is where most of that is coming from, thats still the highest ive seen that card do.

Try setting your AGP Aperture size to 128mb in BIOS if you haven't already, it may get you that 16k mark. Also run your drivers in "Performance" mode rather than best image quality.

I achieved that one off score with what you stated in your previous post already done here on my end.

I will be benchmarking again tonight as I have a feeling that my scores will shoot up quite dramatically.... ;)

Hmm and what is this dramatic change?

Also, use msconfig to do a selective startup...only service you may need is "Plug and Play" which lets you get into your video card settings. To me, this is usually worth around +250.

Soulburner and two5om, when did this thread have to do with you two having a convo?

Mjmnam, That score is a decent score, as my FX5600 comes in at about 10k at stock.

Threads get side tracked all the time, it's not a big deal as long as the original poster got his question answered in the process.

amd_man2003,I'm sure I could find a few threads that got off topic that you had a hand in, if I really wanted to look ;)

For the sake of argument, lets just keep this one focused, there are already a couple threads dedicated to comparing benchmarking scores

I've gone too far and need to move on!
