    Benched the 52.16 Dets.

    My System: P4 2.8C @ 3.1 GHz
    MSI FX 5900 @ 450/900
    MSI 875P Neo Board
    Maxtor 80GB SATA Drive
    2 x 256Mb Transcend RAM
    AOpen 400W PS
    XP Pro

    Settings: VCore 1.575v
    RAM 2.75v
    FSB 220
    AGP 1.6v

    3D Mark 03: 45.23 Dets = 6 250 and CPU 681
    52.16 Dets = 6 323 and CPU 778

    Aquamark 03 : 45.23 dets = 42 360 with GFX 4 974 and CPU 8 608
    52.16 dets = 43 284 with GFX 5 115 and CPU 8 622

Nice improvement in performance BUT more importantly there is a clear improvement in QUALITY

The Aquamark ships are now rendered with their SHADOWS visible !!

Well done NVidia:thumb: Can't wait for DX 9.1 now !!

They run fine here, but I had a couple problems with them (1 big one).

    1. When installing games, the system uses up ALL its RAM and slows to a crawl, feels slower than a 286. It didn't lock up, but during installation of both games I tried (Halo, Serious Sam SE) it did this. When I tried clicking, or bringing up the Task Manager, these actions took about 5-10 minutes to actually pop up. They seem to be affecting my system in a negative way.

    2. GPU now runs 10c hotter at idle. This means my case is now rather warm inside and it raised my CPU temp by about 5c as well. On the flipside, at full load it runs about 10c cooler.

To fix problem #1 I went into services.msc and set the Nvidia Display Driver Service to "Manual" instead of "Automatic" and rebooted. Games installed normally. Haven't found a cause for problem #2.

Never had those probs on my side...

I know it's not my place to make suggestions yet, BUT did u run drivecleaner and cabcleaner before the new drivers were installed?

My system temps never changed noticeably: Under load FX card at ~51C and CPU ~ 41C with stock(Pathetic) fan cooling.

BTW, I've got DX9.0b, as u probably know allready.....Any idea when DX9.1 is gonna be releasead?

BTW they are not 52.16 "Dets" anymore, that has been replaced by the name "Forceware" as it is an all new driver build with new features.
