    Hey, they fixed that Weta;)

you guys misunderstood me, I'm just somewhat loyal to nVidia.
when I bought my 4200ti 2 years ago it was the way to go, I've just liked nVidia since. I never liked Ati because I thought they looked..... low quality. Then all of a sudden I start hearin how Ati Owns nVidia, but I dont care I'll never buy an ati, there ugly:barf:

Thats why when I read that 5900's were outscoring 9800's I was suprised In a good way.:woot:

They are the leaders in benchmark optimisation (joke).
    Actually, it depends.

3DMark2001SE is easily faster with the R9800 over the FX5900.

The 9800XT is also the top dog in 3DMark03.

However for Aquamark3, the Nvidia cards are a little ahead there.

    FX5900 - 3DMark2001 [20,566] - 3DMark2003 [7,281] - Aquamark3 [56,694]

    3dMark 2003 v340: 5382 at stock speeds earlier tonight

Overclocked this puppy afterwards, havn't run any real benchmarks yet though (except for FFXI Bench2, which went from 4665 to 5232 on High-res)... just finished playing 4hrs of FFXI as well, system is rock solid so far, CPU temp hit high of 51C under load, idles at 41C (I have *very* crappy thermal paste on there right now, picking up some AS3 this weekend as I seem to have lost mine)... updating my sig to reflect new upgrades and OC'ing

I'll post my new benchmark results after.. I'm pretty impressed so far :)

Are you running the test on high quality with AA/AF? Your score is about 1,500 points low.
