There's a difference between what your doing and what I'm doing.

I link to image on a website, where you attach one from your hard-drive. That in itself is a big difference.

There are plenty of places you can link too, and they allow you to do it. Doing it my way takes up way less space on the TT sever. (not that one image takes up much space, but if everyone does it often enough, then there is reason for concern).

I'll give you a walk through on how I do it, and a link to a site that allows you to link to it, just so you get the idea (my style).

Here is a link to a site that lets you use their smiles

From here, click on an emoticon that you want, the link to that specific smiley will show in the bar up the top, which says, "click a smiley now, if you right click on that code and copy it, come too the TT reply post area and click on IMG up the top (just above where you type) and paste that link in there, when you hit the submit button your smiley will be displayed.

Be wary of sites that say not to link to it, only use links to sites that allow you too, or just copy the smiles to your hard-drive and upload them onto your own webpage and link them from there.

See how you go with that.
