Nah, nah, meant the whole Gandalf thingy. I miss-spelled Gandalf in my post?!?! Argh! :D

Maybe I was thinking of Goodgulf. Dryad have you read Bored of the Ring?

And I believe Belegaer is more to the West of Gondor and south of Eriador. :p

Is it just me or does the Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales makes the Lord of the Rings seem cheerful.

Gondor.......according to War in Middle Earth Map c.1989
And tongue in cheek humor far exceeds John Ronald Rauels
    later jewels of future depression............

Indeed I am afraid I not know not not of John Ronald Rauels.

I sit corrected, Belegaer lies both to the South and West of Gondor.

I forget where Gondor's boarder was at it's hieght I'm not sure if it actually made contact with Eriador.

I don't remember if Eriador is the name of a land or a kingdom. I don't really remember seeing the name to often.

    And most importantly:
    Bored of The Rings
    By Harvard Lampoon

It's damn funny, in an extremely dry sorta way, but also depressing. It too manages to makes the lord of the rings seem cheerful in comparison.

One of it's great sources of humor is rewriting parts of the story from a more realistic/real world point of view.

"This Ring, no other, is made by the elves,
Who'd pawn their own mother to grab it themselves.
Ruler of creeper, mortal, and scallop,
This is a sleeper that packs quite a wallop.
The Power almighty rests in the Lone Ring.
The Power, alrighty, for doing your Own Thing.
If broken or busted it cannot be remade.
It found, send to Sorhed (the postage is prepaid)."

Bad poem, but you get the idea...

Oh, yeah my "er" world... reseller. :D
