We were timing 0-100 i thought. Or maybe that was a different time.

I'm just having trouble believing a 12.5 second quarter mile when your car does 0-100 in 10s

It's Australia, so it will be Kph.

    12.5 doesn't sound right.

A stock VT will run around 15 -16.

So yours should do low 15s or at best high 14s

Doing 0-100kph a manual would be faster?
In my nissan it does it in about 7.5 seconds and its an auto. A Manual seems like i could get through the shifts quicker.
    Just wondering.

Depends, my first to second gear syncro is going out, so i've almost gotta jam it into second. But i've been doing less and less since i think it's bad for the car.

Stick can be faster, but you gotta know how.

    It depends on the driver.

A standard auto will probably be quicker from 0-60Kph. But a Manual would be quicker from 0-100Kph.

Manuals are quicker at high speed due to less drive train power loss. Also passenger car autos are made for comfort, and not performance.
