Thread: How to build a thermal sensor??

    I dont know if this can be done but i was wondering, can we take an old thermal diode from a broken motherboard and connect it to something to read the temps?? like connecting to somewhere on the MB or to a little gauge or screan??

    um all i have to say is that if u want to make one from scratch its going to take you a while... i mean you want to connect it to something... well you can take a microcontroller kit which are very expensive and hook it all up with the C program and it will work for you here is an idea :idea: go to a place like radio shack or any other electionics store and see if the have thease small electionic kits i saw a digital therm. there once
