Thread: Are keylocks still useable?

The full tower that I am modding is one of the older styles and has a keylock on it. Is it still possible to use it either to use it as it was made for or for a power switch?

If so, how would I do it please?

Also, there is a spare LED that is with the turbo button, since the button is a three way button I'll leave it alone unless someone has a good idea for it. If not then could I use the LED for my second hard drive or at least running in conjunction with the normal HD LED?

    Any help is appreciated

Yep the old keyboard lock is still catered for by most motherboards today so just consult ya mobo manual for the proper hook up.

Well if ya mobo supported it then the pins would be grouped with the power/power LED/reset/hdd LED/etc.. pins and usually marked "KB lock" or "lock" but it just may not have that function.
