I'm gonna be doing something similar here in the next week (hopefully). My plan on how I'm going about it is to use a hole saw (9 incher) and then mount a 10"x10" piece of plexi behind it. I know people who worship the dremel, but it's cheaper and I don't see how it will suck too bad. I'm thinking of using some epoxy to mount it, but am not sure at this point.

Hole saws work great, I just find them to be expensive and rather short-lived when using them on metal.

:) If you cut the plexi with the same hole saw as you cut your case, shoudn't be a pretty close fit?

Actually, the two cuts would differ in size by the kerf of the saw.
So it's not going to be a press fit by any means.

:) Would regular aquarium sealer (silicone based cement) work ok to join the plexi & the case? :)
