Two fans on our socket A heatsink? I really don't think that's a good idea. One fast fan placed on the right spot would help more.

i like it because the green fan cools my ram plus chipset and heatsink and the other cools the cpu my temps have dropped from 43 celcius to 40 and my chipset went from 36 to 35 celcius

could it be that my cpu temps dropped from 43 to 40 because of adding that thremal paste at the bottom of my heatsink
plus my cpu used to be at 46 celcius but when i got the new rosswill psu they dropped 3 celcius

Your RAM won't get anything from cooling. Neither will your chipset.

An application of thermal compound can drop temps by 3C and often more.

If the power supply has a more powerful exhaust and/or intake fans, it can indeed add to case airflow enough to case a 3C drop in CPU temperature.

Also having higher voltages on the rails can result in more volts to components, and therfore more heat put out by those components. If I adjust the rails on my Powerstream, the voltage to the CPU goes up or down depending on which way I adjust it.

So having a PSU that is closer to the actual ratings (3.3V, 5V, 12V) could have played a role in that aswell.

Quit bringing up months-old posts. It's not that hard to check post dates.

Here's my setup.. pretty messy with the cables.. but at least everything matches more or less with the black and silver..

    I'm wondering whether I should've gone with the all-black p180 case instead..
