I've got a Lian-Li PC68 and I want to have a bright blue light shining through the front filter, would It be better to use a cold cathode or a lazer LED?
    Thanks

Why not just replace the fans with blue LED light fans? :?:

That's the way I've got mine setup. I got these from OCSystem (it took for-EVER to get them) and put two in the front and two in the back of my case. The two in the front do a good job of getting light through the plastic grill so I can see the it with or without my room lights on (with the lights on, I have to be looking right at the front, head on). If you do go with the LED fan option, get the quad-LED fans, because they put out the most light. Cheers!

Wow, that would look *****in' cool, but unfortunatly I'm in Canada and it would be incredibly expensive and loooong to get them.
Are they even good fans? at all?
Anybody know where to get fans like that in Canada?

So is a CC or LED not going to work?

They should be easy enough to find in Canada as they very easy to find here in Australia. Here's the 2 blue LED fans in the front of my P4 (looks much better at night though). ;)

Actually I found where I'll probably buy from.

They have a good deal on 4 led fans, I just hope they're good.

The fans that I got, are decent fans, for the sake of pushing (pulling) air also. What a good idea! :) They are 2500rpm 80mm case fans, nothing fancy, other than the obvious. I have 6 of these things total, 4 of the Crystal Quad ones, 1 Cooler Master and 1 PC Toys and they all perform about the same as far as air flow goes. The Crystal Quad ones seem to put out a higher spectrum blue light, almost like a black light type spectrum, which is kinda cool. Here's a pic I jus took, without the red light on, it shows the blue very well. DOH! one of my LEDs is out, oh well..

They certainly save on the extra wiring that other lighting requires. :thumb:
